Chocolate Protein Donuts that are delicious, fluffy, low in calories, made with basic ingredients, AND done in 15 minutes!👇🏼 - Donuts: • 1 ripe banana • 1/2 cup rolled oats, blended (into a powder) • 1/3 cup any milk (I use 1%) • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder • 1/2 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp baking powder • 1/4 tsp baking soda • 2 tbsp any sweetener (I use low calorie maple syrup) • 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (I’m using @myproteinus chocolate whey) • 1/4 tsp salt - Icing: • 2 heaping tbsp light cream cheese (I use 95% fat free) • 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder • 2 tsp milk (add more or less for icing consistency) - Yields: 6 donuts - Notes: • I top it off with a sprinkle of crushed cereal or granola for a light crunch but that is completely optional! • “greased” donut tray just means you’ve added a bit of butter or oil to each mold so it pops right out when you’ve finished baking! • you can make any flavour frosting by switching the protein powder flavour such as vanilla! • seal these tight in a container and store them in the fridge for the week. They will stay soft. The icing will dry up over time like normal icing does! • These are a great grab and go treat to have in the morning as they are made with whole foods like oats and banana.
