So the racism metaphor was too heavy handed and the audience saw themselves as Nick (the over policed). So they watered it down by making the audience connect with Judy (the white savior character).🙄

There’s a scene of a little polar bear getting his collar and he almost gets dangerously shocked just cause he was having fun on his birthday what makes things worst is that after that the scene is just quiet with the dad hugging him knowing that this is his sons life now.
