endgame was 10 years of insane build up, I highly doubt dc will A. wait 10 years for the endgame equivalent (apokolips probably) and B. wont have anything where half of them are acc 'dead' and come back

Okay, but let's be serious. When was the last time we saw a superhero movie where we actually saw a comic book moment on screen? For example, in The Death of Gwen, they translated the comic book to the screen really well, and we need more of that. I already see the portal as fan service. The only way to surpass that is to bring the comic book panels to the screen; that's what DC has to do.
