my daughter is in jail again today for FTA...she again is still making promises please pray for my daughter again and I will pray for all of our children in addiction 🙏

I’m a mom with a son who’s in denial that he even has a problem. He’s lost his family and siblings and I still keep trying to help. I have cried and nobody understands and no resources for me and I felt so terribly alone.Everyone was against me . I always wonder when I will get that call that he’s no longer here.It’s a nightmare.

For 17 years I lived through this. The stress, sleeping with the phone next my head, dozens of rehabs and constantly living in fear, especially when he was living on the streets. He has 4 years clean just finished the last of his classes and is a certified substance use counselor. He's been working at a state run rehab he frequented at least 10 times. Life is better but I think we all have PTSD.

I have been silent follower of years for years. My brother was an addict for 10 years and I watch pain in my face and how it change them still to this day even though he’s been for a really long time. Your videos helped remind me what my parents went through not just me. 🫶

I went with mom gut too. I tried the tough love, it was horrible for him and me. Now he calls frequently, we have good conversations. He does well for a long time then relapses and then pulls himself together again. More times he tries greater his chances of success. Tough love is good to a point.

Brandi - I am scared and terrified….. my son is in the hospital now, for mental health issues- and the only alternative is a shelter to go to…. I am scared for him he is fragile, and waiting for a bed in a group home

You are telling my story. Mine lasted 19 years until she conquered her addiction. I am so with you on your beliefs on how to handle it. I tried all the recommended ways but my mama’s heart couldn’t live with it. I remember someone finding out that I paid for her cellphone and them asking why would I enable her by allowing her the means of contacting her dealer. My answer…”because sometimes it’s the only way I know she’s still alive”… ❤️. Keep up the great work you’re doing regarding the devastating illness of addiction. I am so glad you came across my page.
