My total cholesterol was 229, HDL was 52, triglycerides were 184, and LDL was 140.2 on March 31st. I stopped eating eggs and dairy. Increased cardio from 10 minutes to 20. In those 20 minutes, I jogged for 10 minutes and walked for 10. I also increased my weight in my workout. Three months later, my total cholesterol dropped to 137, triglycerides to 60, LDL to 72, and HDL remained the same. I used to have four eggs, a bowl of yogurt, and a cup of milk (with tea) every day. I have been working out for the last four years. I don’t know what culprit was, but stopping eating those made a difference. I started eating eggs again, but this time two eggs. Though I need more protein, I am afraid my cholesterol levels will go up, so I will start having yogurt again. So, I want to test it with eggs and see if my cholesterol levels rise. I’ll do my next annual in March 2026.
