Let’s normalize accepting that all dogs are different and some dogs do not enjoy walking or being outside, just like some dogs don’t like socializing with other dogs or people.

Animals are not self aware so in all reality inside or outside they dont miss out on something that they dont understand. yes bring them out but even if they went out as often as you were out of the house it would still be very limited and we (most anyway) humans are aware of the benefits, time, life...

walking your dog isn't the end all be all that casual dog owners think it is. It's much more important that your dog gets the mental exercise that they need. Also, my dog gets much more physical exercise on the half hour bike ride where we cover 6-8 miles than your dog gets in that hour long walk.

Everyone has diff situations I have two reactive dogs…. Taking them on walks is always I mean alwayssssss stressful lmao and now with it cold and ice everywhere…. I’m going downnnn and breaking bones lmao two 80lb dogs yeah…. We staying in bed for right now 😂

And take them to different places too!!!! Can you imagine if your entire world was just your home and you block???? Get those puppies out onto a trail, or even just the other side of town. Let them smell all of the other smells out there. Their world is only as big as what you show them.
