How long do you think this took me in terms of training? (Hint: it’s years and years, probably a lot more than you think 😬) I think the number 1 mistake beginners make in their calisthenics/fitness journey is expecting results too fast, too soon. Social media has made instant gratification the norm (I’m guilty of this as well!), that when the process gets hard or messy, encountering plateaus or setbacks makes quitting seem like the easier option—rather than staying consistent or continuing simply because we enjoy the process. Zoom out a bit my friend :) 🤍 This moment is just a blip on your timeline. And whether you’re at stage 0 and have never stepped foot in a gym before or you’re deeep into the journey the same still applies: this is a long journey and you’re allowed to take your time 🤍 Don’t rush this process.
