One huge reason that many people are resentful of Capitalism, is because their own ideas, intellect, labor, abilities, and skills aren’t as valuable as they’d like them to be and they’re incapable of profiting off of them to the degree that they believe they should be able to. Many of these people believe they are superior and more self righteous than others, while also being jealous and envious of others.

Actually smart people criticize parts of capitalism/socialism that are worth criticizing without ulterior motives. Anyone who pretends either is perfect is not smart. Somewhere in the middle with democratic socialism usually gives best results. Nordic countries for example
