At that point, I’m taking most of the funds out and just trading with 2k and a 5k-ish buffer on topstep and moving all of my profits to a personal account. I rather not deal with their restrictions and build my own personal account. I’ll still leverage them for the minimum amount of money I can get from them. But, I rather set my own rules and manage my own money without them imposing how much I can lose per day. Granted, it’s good to have some rules not saying you shouldn’t. But, I have a live Topstep trader who is often right about the direction a trade is going but on occasion early to the trade who misses opportunities because of those limitations which he could have made up for but can’t because he’s locked out. As you will have to experience being on the sidelines of as well. Granted he can enter conservatively on some of these move everyone will have an opinion. But, most with these opinions aren’t live traders let alone profitable.
