@scorchmarker: Here’s how I made this Christmas gift for my mom. I started with an eight-inch wood slice and sanded it to 240 grit for a smooth surface. After wiping away the dust, I placed a snowflake stencil slightly off the bottom edge for an asymmetrical look. Then I scraped Scorch Paint over the stencil and blotted the extra away so the lines would stay crisp. A little heat burned the design right into the wood. I then flipped the slice over and used our Scorch Marker to write a lovely message Heated it and finally finished it off with our food-safe finishing oil Final result - beautiful holiday gift done in less than 15 minutes
