ABOUT LAST NIGHT IN EAST TEXAS Well, the rain could not stop the love & support shown by patrons who poured into the Texas African American Museum AKA Veretta and Jesse E. Rider Fine and Performing Arts Centre in Tyler, Texas . 🍂 AUTUMN NIGHTS OPEN MIC & BOOK SIGNING 🍂 An Evening of Spoken Word · Music · Monologues & Memoirs was a huge succces. 🎤 Hosted By: The Award-Winning Mr.Michael Guinn 🌟 Featuring: Trenton Mckay Judson 📖 Special Highlights: • Book Signing By Pen & Leaf Publishing LLC • A Song Performed by Talented 10 yesr old Janelle Miles 💕 • Open Mic featuring Tracy Hill • Boosted By The Highly Anticipated East Texas Monologue Competition We had music, thunder, food, vendors, authors, poetry, and an amazing monologue slam. Shout out to Metro Authors Group for the cheese tray. Someone even donated a watermelon and we ate that thang too. The audience were treated to a phenomenal feature by the one and only Trenton McKay Judson. Shout out to him and his beautiful family as well as his publishers Pen and lmLeaf llc. A huge thank you to Mr. Stanley Cofer and his staff. They provided everything. Lights, sound, setup, ticketing , photography and were simply phenomenal host. Shout out to Ms LaTonia Gaston-Bell for her presence and support . Thank you to my actors Gnarly Lockwood, Choyce Ybarra. And this year’s ETX monologue slam champion Queen Sheila Hamilton Brown.. a super special thanks to Janelle Miles our 10-year-old singing sensation. And to our sporlighr Vendor, author, Tracey Hill.. shout out to our judges, Jules, Robert and Minister-Author Stephanie M Seaton who also shared a poem. . Just an incredible evening for our first event at this center.. I thank God for a super multicultural and diverse turnout for tonight’s event.
