guys my thoughts are, that Vanessa is adopted child from Afton bc if baby is already possessed then in there it's Elizabeth Aftons real daughter. and this movie takes place 2002-2003 so baby incident already happened so bc Afton lost his daughter he adopted Vanessa to replace Elizabeth,and I think Micheal is already been scooped that's why he acting evil!

another reference is that if you count the times that ballonboy laughs before attacking Michael, it laughs the exact same amount that in the game, 4 times to be exact, it's kinda hidden tho because he laughs at random moments, buts a good reference to the gameplays
