@mothershipsg: In response to Mothership’s queries, Chua Chu Kang Town Council shared that enhancement works were conducted at Block 395 Bukit Batok West Avenue 5 on Nov. 13. Such works included applying a thin layer of floor screed to the corridors. A week before the scheduled works, notices were displayed in advance at the block's lift lobby, informing residents that access to the corridors would be restricted. In addition to notices in the lifts, contractors went door-to-door on the day of the works to personally notify residents, reminding them to stay in their homes during the works. No concerns were raised by other residents, and the floor works were completed within the day.
