Are you tired of doing magic ring with chenille yarn? It’s so tricky to pull the chenille or velvet yarn tails and they are too easy to break! Please try these two methods with me! Method 1: Chain 2 method. First, make a slip knot then chain 2, start your first round by crochet in the first chain (the second chain from the hook). For example: Chain 2, then 6 sc in the first chain, instead of 6 sc in the magic ring. Method 2: If you don’t like the gaps in the middle of the ring in chain 2 method, use a magic ring 🤪 !!! - Please don’t do it in the regular way! When you wrap the yarn around your fingers to make a ring, please use a thinner and stronger yarn. You can use any kind of solid yarn you have, acrylic or cotton blend both work fine. - Next, use your chenille yarn and crochet the first round into the magic ring as usual. - When you complete the first round, pull and tighten the yarn tails of the thinner yarn and tie them together. - Next, tie the yarn tail of your chenille yarn with the thinner yarn tail to make your magic ring more secure, and it’s all done!
