You can also super saturate the water with sugar by heating to high temperature. Google the rest to know more. Just coat it to avoid bugs

Indian spice stores have it maybe in powder or in block form, in which case you'd have to grind it. also found readily online.

It's good but if you want to try a different way get salty water leave for just under a week if you want add dye not as good but oh well
