I used to do this too because it’s easy story content but the truth is... It’s lazy story content & I love you but no one cares about what you have on your to-do list Here’s what to do instead to create engaging stories while still sharing your day-to-day ↓ 1- take people behind the scenes of ONE task on your to-do list that will create awareness about your offer or show how you embody what you teach Example: If you have a 1:1 coaching call to hop on share how you’re prepping for it, share a picture of you hopping on the zoom call, and then share 2-4 things that you helped your client with Want to showcase how you embody what you teach? Maybe you teach your students about power of eating breakfast for hormone health — instead of just saying you need to get ready, eat breakfast, and fold laundry — take a video of you making breakfast (share the recipe of what you’re making) and then share a picture of the meal or you eating it 2- Chat about a topic related to your niche while doing a task unrelated to it For example — while you’re folding laundry, share a quick 15-60 sec thought that relates to your niche 3- Turn a repetitive task on your todo list into a series Always taking your dog on a walk? Create a dog walking story series where you share a tip, thought, or ask a question that is thought provoking for your audience 4- Tell a story about a task you completed from your to-do list — even if it’s unrelated to your niche Maybe you went to the grocery store and your toddler had a tantrum — share that and ask your viewers if they’ve ever experienced a grocery store meltdown Nothing wrong a to-do list, just don’t let it be just a to-do list! Use it to nurture and sell vs just being a “check off my list” story that you throw up because you haven’t posted on stories that day
