Plus...hemorrhoids! I delivered on Thursday and was told by my nurse to hold my breath and push...for more than an hour.

Yesss they literally didn't let me catch my breath. I felt like i was going to pass out. I ended up just pushing him out when i wasn't contracting

My OB was awesome he let me take control and he said he trusted my instincts and barely assisted during delivery it made it so much easier

My firstI was coached,had me on oxygen by the end I was so out of breath. My second labor I pushed when I felt like it. Much better &quicker

What if you are forced into coaching pushing ? Can you refuse to push and tell them your not ready and want to push when you want
