i’ve heard repti carpet isn’t good for them either bc it can catch their nails or teeth which i highly believe. i was using it for mine and his nails would get stuck here n there

Impaction only happens with other improper husbandry. Loose substrate is the best option in nost cases, as its natural! If any loose substrate caused impaction they wouldn’t be able to live in the wild

loose substrate is fine as long as your temps are where they should be. repticarpet can rip their claws out

People dont realize that if you actually have proper husbandry and know what your doing when it comes to caring for a dragon then a topsoil/playsand mix would be perfectly fine😭
