You may find an issue with that check valve the amount of water might not be enough to open it. Go on amazon and order a seachoice 18271

I use to build/design check valves, the water wont run out because the pressure of the water will be holding it closed from letting the water out

@rustyvanranch make sure to seal your foam before painting it!!! the paint CAN eat it as well. I use mod podge to seal but I work on a smaller scale.
