Love doesn't know a size. ❤️ In 2015, I married my bestfriend after being together for 12 years. We met while we were in highschool & @discoveringdanny never asked me to change or made me feel loved any less due to my size. When we got married, I weighed my heaviest of 485lbs, and I knew that I wanted to lose weight in the future for not only myself, but my health, and to be around longer for those special people in my life who needed me. I felt like I was a prisoner in my own body & I wasn't living, just existing. My wedding was one of the best days of my life & a moment ill never forget. When I married my husband in 2015, I weighed 485lbs. I felt beautiful in my dress, but I struggled to find one that fit me, wasn't treated very kindly while looking due to my size unfortunately, and almost ended up not being able to wear a wedding dress like i'd dreamed. Wedding dress shopping was supposed to be exciting, but honestly, it almost broke my heart. As a plus-size bride, I wasn't treated fairly & almost just settled, while acting like it didn't bother me that my size held me back from - again. That was one of many reasons that added up & made me decide to change. I loved myself enough to fight for myself. I loved myself enough to believe in myself & my future. I felt like I was a prisoner in my own body and terrified that if I didn't change, I might not live to see my 30th birthday. Two months later, I started my weightloss journey and never looked back. It's okay to love yourself enough to fight for yourself and feel beautiful at any size, but to also want to take care of your health. It's up to us to create the life we want and our own fairy tale ending - start today! ‐---------------------------------- Next Dietbet of 2025 starts Feb 3rd!
