Been down that road, I got to where I would have them pay for the parts to front. Always plastic or cash.

I bounced one once for my business. bad rental place cashed my deposit check dumpster place check bounced. had deposits inbound. felt terrible.

Worked for a guy once,he wrote me a check it bounced.i had to pay fees..saw him at a gas station..he took off.lol..this was in the 90s..

Oh yes, I remember the 2 bad checks I got way back in the 70's. Never took a check ever again.

Know the feeling , if you can remember back in the 60’s, 70’s, &80’s every repair show had a wall of bad checks and bad Visa card receipts - had one

I want my money now! I had people contest credit card charges after they picked up their cars. Never take a check, or card from a lawyer
