#BANGCHAN || I’m so sick and tired of the constant barrage of unnecessary and mean hate comments that flood the internet, targeting people who are just trying to live their lives or express themselves. What people don’t realize—or worse, what they do realize and still choose to ignore—is that those words can cut so much deeper than they seem. It’s not just a comment that gets scrolled past; it lingers, it festers, and it can cause people to internalize that hate. For someone like Chan, who already struggles with his own self-worth, seeing those hateful words only adds to the weight he’s carrying. It can push someone to hate themselves, to start believing the lies that people throw at them with no care for the damage they’re causing. And the worst part is that this kind of hate can lead to something far more dangerous—pushing someone to a place where they feel trapped or like there’s no way out. People don’t realize the power their words have, or maybe they do, and they use it to hurt others intentionally. Either way, the effects can be devastating, and it’s exhausting to see this happen over and over again. No one should be made to feel like they aren’t good enough, like they deserve the cruelty that’s being thrown at them. It’s time we hold people accountable for the damage they cause with their words, because it’s more than just a fleeting insult—it’s a lasting pain that can change someone’s life in ways we might never see until it’s too late. It’s heartbreaking to know that Chan, someone who brings so much joy, comfort, and inspiration to millions, could ever feel like he isn’t enough. He has this incredible gift of making others feel loved and valued, yet he struggles to see his own worth. Chan shouldn’t hate himself because he is everything so many people aspire to be—kind, talented, humble, and compassionate. His selflessness and dedication are what make him special, but it hurts to think that despite all he gives, he might still feel like he falls short. It physically hurts me to see chan agree to the hate comments, or the way he laughs at them. I wish chan could see himself the way we see him, because it’s just so sad to hear him say these things about himself. I wish chan could read this and see how loved he is from all his members, from his friends, from his family, and from STAY. I hope someday he can proudly say that he matters, that he is a lovable, important person, that he actually recognises his achievements, and that he can be proud of what he did. Chan, you are enough the way YOU are, and YOU are what matters to us,to STAY, and we love you. We would never change a single thing about you. I love you so much Channie.
