There needs to be a market for recycled glass too. My city was stockpiling glass at their waste facility at one point b/c there was no market for it

Well 1 problem is the dinosaur glass factories 🏭: very inefficient tech/energy use. But how is the recycling still a problem anywhere in the US?

Thank you!!! SO true. carbon emissions from aluminum is also higher than plastic. PCR is $$, sadly affected by how much plastic not recycled at MRFs

It’s crazy how much ♻️differs by city. Just because it’s recyclable does not mean your city can ♻️it at their facility.
