I’m trying to bring attention to a growing and deeply concerning issue with Meta Platforms (Facebook), specifically regarding their handling of disabled accounts — and the complete absence of meaningful support or accountability for users affected by wrongful suspensions. My Facebook account was disabled without warning or valid explanation after it was linked to an unauthorized Instagram account I did not create or control. Despite my attempts to appeal and explain the situation, I received only automated responses or scripted ticket closures, with no evidence of human review or proper investigation. Meta’s internal systems appear capable of automatically disabling accounts, but they are either unwilling or unable to reverse those actions, even when identity can be clearly verified and the suspension was clearly in error. This is more than a technical flaw — it is a systemic failure. Meta’s support infrastructure: •	Offers no direct appeal path for users in cases involving hacked or cross-platform account misuse. •	Routinely closes tickets with canned responses like “We’ve provided all the information we can,” even when no resolution was given. •	Has no documented or accessible process to unlink fraudulent Instagram connections from affected Facebook accounts. •	Refuses to escalate cases, even when users are locked out of their identity, history, and livelihood. I am willing to verify my identity and follow all required security protocols — but Meta has effectively cut off all access and accountability while maintaining total control over my data and identity. This raises serious ethical, technical, and legal concerns, particularly for users affected by: •	Unauthorized account linking or cross-platform abuse •	Hacked or compromised profiles •	Broken appeal systems that block legitimate users from recovery I urge regulators, journalists, and advocacy groups to investigate Meta’s approach to account suspensions and the growing number of users who are locked out — not because they violated any policy, but because Meta’s internal systems are failing them. #meta #account #facebook #instagram
