This dinner is the perfect plate for this cold weather. Your family will love this cozy dish. You will need: 2 pounds cooked shredded chuck roast.  1 pound of the chuck sauce( previously frozen and thawed).  **I’ll leave the link to the chuck roast recipe in my profile ☝🏻☝🏻 10 oz. French beans steamed and lightly seasoned with salt and black pepper.  For the biscuits: 2 cups all purpose flour  1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tbsp baking powder  1 tsp salt  113 g unsalted very cold butter  4 oz. Pepper jack cheese  2 oz. Sharp cheddar cheese  1 tbsp honey  1 cup buttermilk  2 tbsp heavy cream for the biscuit top.  Preparation: In a 9 inch cast iron casserole add the thawed chuck roast and sauce( I usually freeze meat and sauce in two different bags). Add the steamed French beans and mix with the meat, sauce and set aside. Let’s make the biscuits; Mix the dry ingredients, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Grate in the butter, mix gently and quickly with your hands. Add the cheese and the wet ingredients. Shape into a ball, don’t knead the dough too much. Add flour to your surface and cut small circles. Top the meat casserole as shown and brush with heavy cream. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Make sure the biscuit is cooked all the way through. Remove and enjoy this cozy family style meal.
