Retique it has some amazing paint, wax and gel stain.... I've painted all the wood furniture in my house..... you do not have to sand or prime!!!

Do you know that chalk paint needs to be sealed? Wax or clear coat is necessary because it won’t hold up and will stain easily.

Not sure if you’ve ever heard this tip but I’ve had success dipping my brush in water and then the paint. It takes more coats but hides brush strokes!
