I usally set the clutch on the input shaft and put them up as one unit. put the bolts in through the inspection hole.

Adjuster at the bottom.Good idea. Most folks don’t understand that a engine stops at a few spots every time. Sometimes you can see it on the flywheel

I hate the clutch jacks , even with Solo clutches had them fall back and creat all kinds of pain . Free hand or guide bolts work best for me

For the love of your back go to harbor freight buy the car trans jack weld 2 pieces of angle iron together like a T and make input shafts changeable

I like welding a small loop on the end of the alignment shaft which in my case is an old input shaft.

I always put input shaft in pilot bearing first then disc, then pressure plate. Just what worked for me.

I've hung them that way before now I hang them by putting clutch disks an intermediate plate on line up shaft and then slide the pressure plate on

I usually make down pins out of 3/8 bolts. Cut the heads off.
