Why the unnecessary sedation though? In Sweden they put in an IV, so that if it becomes unbearable, they can quickly give u a calming sedative.

I had one at 19, fully awake, zero sedation. It was AWFUL!!!! I still have no idea why they didn't sedate or twilight me.
