Yes!!! I get really obsessive and sometimes this can be really easy, but other times frustratingly bland.

honestly I find it hard to use a metronome when playing any lead at all, It just doesn't work in my head :)

the best advice I've received is to divide into sections. Learn the last section first 10/10 perfect, move back one, then play through both. Repeat

I do like your content and your advice. I just think you could come off a little less natter of fact and let people know that’s what works for YOU.

I do the exact same actually. I've been doing walk with me in hell by lamb of God this week. I'm at 90 percent speed with most of it.

ASD awesome program. coach used to make us run with weights. so I would play all my solos too fast. Then performance feels easy! Cheers!

I do the same, I learn the tabs and then I go on YouTube and slow it down to 0.5 speed or even 0.25 speed and I learn it that way 💪🏽

For a very difficult passage I’ll slow the metronome down to 40 bpm.

Thank you for this. My 9yo daughter recently started guitar lessons and I haven't known how to help guide her practice. I'm going to stop giving her..
