I HAVE BEEN IN PUBLISHING FOR 15 YEARS! I started as a newbie author, like many of you are now, and I made ALL the mistakes. But once I learned where I was going wrong, I pivoted, took time to study and devour everything I could to teach myself the craft of writing, art of storytelling, and business of publishing, then that’s when things started happening for me. After my first book hit the Amazon bestseller list and won a national book award, I sort of fell into book editing and author coaching as a side hustle 13 years ago. During the first 10 years of this journey, I was privileged to have the opportunity to work for several publishers and literary agents, which taught me EVERYTHING I ever wanted to know (and tons I didn’t want to know) about the publishing industry. Now, with seven published books (working on #8) under my belt, and after having taken my coaching and editing career full-time in Jan 2020, I have personally helped over 100 authors realize their dreams of successful launches and careers!
