Ryobi is the only cordless tool brand without a slide dock battery. If you ask me it’s more convenient but I’m bias. 😅

im an metal framer and i used the dewalt impact driver for about 8 years before i had to buy a new one and the new one now has 4 years and no problems

Has anyone had issues with the exposed battery terminals on slide style connections? If they get bent or are more prone to corrosion?

Ryobi is the cheapest but literally made by the same people that make the other big brands. No difference and it does the same job. I go for Ryobi

I'm on the dewalt train because I have all the batteries. no to kobalt, craftsman, and skil. ryobi really came up after they changed colors though.

I really like my Ryobi tools. My Porter Cable 18 volt combo kit is pretty much used up. Batteries are getting hard to find.

I like the Milwaukee M18 FUEL line of tools. However I think Makita and Dewalt are the next best with Ryobi coming in next.

Ryobi's batteries suck, their battery life die too fast. I have like 6 dead batteries and 2 good one that seem to hold a charge less and less.
