These air fried onion rings are so quick and easy to make. Crunchy and packed with flavour because of the delicious coating, with that soft sweet onion centre, I can't get enough of them! I've also included a recipe for a sriracha, honey and lime dip for dunking them in. Recipe: 2 large onions 75g plain flour 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp chipotle chilli flakes 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 eggs, beaten 75-100g panko breadcrumbs Spray vegetable oil Dip 2 heaped tbsp mayonnaise 2-4 tsp sriracha 2 tsp honey A squeeze of lime juice Salt Chives. 1. Slice the onions into 1cm rings and separate them. 2. Combine the spices with the flour. 3. Dip the rings in the flour, egg and then panko breadcrumbs. Stick the finished rings on wire rack as you repeat. 4. Spray oil into the base of the air fryer. Preheat to 180c. 5. Add the onion rings in a single layer, place the smaller ones in the centre of the bigger ones, making sure there is still plenty of space between them. Spray with oil and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Turn halfway and spray with more oil if you need to. Remove, season with salt and repeat with the rest of the rings. Keeping the cooked onion rings on a wire rack will keep them crispy. 6.
