Purebred does not mean wellbred! Just because there is a purebred dog at the shelter does not mean it is ethically or well bred. Adopt or shop!

while what she says is true their are pure breed dogs in shelters. I've fostered many dogs from shelters with ligament AKC papers.

I have never heard of a single reputable breeder who didn't have a return to them clause. well breed dogs go go to rescues they go back to the breeder

Agree 💯. Shelter dogs are someone else’s incompetence and comes as a fixer upper. No way are they “better” than ethical, reputable breeders
