from experience put the bag into an airtight tub otherwise everything smells of garlic which is OK until you grab the ice cream

I add garlic to a processor then add to a small mason jar with oil (anything except olive). I keep in the fridge and use almost a spoon daily.

Do similar but freeze in an ice cube silicone tray then move into a ziplock. Individual garlic cubes😁

It’s not that hard to peel a few garlic gloves eveytime you cook. It’s also fresh that way!
