pine needles are really good for blueberries, just not directly on base. they live the acidity.

Wood chips work so well. I’m in sw Florida and it’s all I use! My yard was sugar sand 3 yrs. ago. Now 5” soil from rotting wood chips

@ instead of landscaping fabric use old cardboard boxes construction paper look up back to Eden garden works great

Why would you use the toxic landscaping fabric rather than layers of biodegradable cardboard? Your fabric pollutes- the cardboard degrades

You need to mix it with something else because if you try to compost that alone it will not have the proper ratio of nutrients.
