Building up to your first 5km run 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ Start by setting 15min timer. Start with a slow jog until your HR get to 130-140bpm. Once it gets there -> slow down and walk until that HR get to around 100-110bpm then start that jog again. Repeat this for the full 15min and sim for 3-4 sessions per week. As you adapt you’ll find you can run for longer and longer without the HR getting to that 140bpm. This is the change we are looking for + we are slowly loading the lower body with volume 🤘 PS find locations and people that inspire you to run. Don’t just hit the same track everyday.
