If I had a biz I’d have separate account, but as far as my personal life…one checking, one savings. We use a budgeting app for what you’re describing.

No… you use a credit card for your day to day… then pay it off with what’s in your checking account. Much safer to do.

You are spot on. Also have separate investment accounts for your different financial goals. Long term goals can be more aggressive than short term etc
