If you want to use patterned wrapping paperbut don’t want to match it up useprinted wrapping paper on the top and matching solid color on the bottom.

Have an idea. Wrap the box diagonal with 2 different wrapping papers. 1 with patterns, the other plain matching color. Have done it; looks amazing.

Your seams should be on the edge of the box to hide them and yes, as others have said, double side tape is the only option
