The TRUTH about how my weight loss is going... Last December I was 210 pounds and was pretty chubby. I knew it was time to lose some weight and get lean for the summer, so I went on a calorie deficit aiming to lose 1 lb per week every week until I was beach lean with some nice abs. And It started off well! I lost 22 lbs and was definitely feeling less heavy and finally my double chin was starting to go. But just as I was making lots of progress as was 5 months consistent, I graduated university. Then came the parties, the celebrations, the going out, the drinking. I thought “oh it’s just 2 weeks and this is so easy for me now” but man was I wrong.  Even through 2 weeks later, everything went back to normal and I had even more time than before, I wasn’t accurately tracking my calories, I was eyeballing, guestimating, and also eating out a lot more. I was overconfident and it hit me hard when 2 months passed and I haven’t lost a single pound. I knew I had gotten lazy and knew I needed to lock back in. So I did. I went on an aggressive cut losing 2lbs a week from then on out and in the past 2 months I cut down 24 pounds by really being on top of my nutrition and tracking my macros and calories, while still being able to enjoy life.
