you can also use tea tree conditioner and one of the metal combs (I got mine from amazon) and you can also get a tea tree repellent spray

when we got custody of my stepdaughter she had lice really bad I treated it with lice shampoo and I put oil on it with a cap every night and combed it

I think it’s more of not cleaning the hair after the lice meds. They thought that they will just fall off, it still needs to be combed thoroughly.
