in turkish we dont have grammatical gender, I'd personally describe a bridge as long and tall idk what else..

As a Spanish speaker, everytime I see this I think I could easily describe a bridge as pretty or elegant.

Also just as someone who speaks german, I never heard someone call a bridge elegant. We go for sturdy as well

Omg I really thought it was true! As a German for example, I always think of the Moon (der Mond) as "male". Would love to see more research on it!!

i suppose it'd be interesting to study Spanish vs. Portuguese in this case, since bridge is feminine in PT and these languages are more similar
