spices don't expire they just get less intense in taste. no reason to throw them away unless they've molded.

Water has an expiration date but it doesn’t expire. The container itself is not safe after a while not the spices.

Under Shelf-Stable Food Safety, the USDA defines spices as a shelf-stable product and in the case of spices, they never truly expire.

Walmart sells the spices in those little glass jars (like pictured). I just use those instead of buying separate jars and having to store leftovers...

We keep certain spices in the freezer due to humidity in the house. Garlic and onion powder were two big ones.

If you have stuck spice, rub the bottom of 2 spice jars together in a circle and it loosens up the spices. If that makes sense.
