Depends on the Tesla App Store. If the phone is launched with a lot @of the big Apps (Banking, Social media, Google etc) then it will be interesting

Smartphones are accessible / Tesla cars are still for the wealthy. Having a phone open a car is just theatre - it’s not a game changer like iPhone was

I don’t think it will change much. Why would I need a Tesla phone that runs android? Just to open the car door! Seems a little much.
