“I would never put my mom in a home” — everyone put your judgments aside. You have 0 idea what my life has been like. I have no other family to help.

It doesn’t matter if she knows your name. You can actually see what she feels for you

People saying “I would never put my mum in a home” obviously don’t realise how dangerous and aggressive Alzheimers can get

It's so sweet to see her happy and big smile on her face. 😁🥰 How do you use her to remember you? Is there any key trigger she never forgets?

People who haven't experienced this don't understand. My dad had alzheimers and was in a memory care facility before he passed away.

people think its so easy to be a caregiver and it's not. until you have to, don't judge other ppl that have had to.

As an RA, don’t ever tell someone “I could never” you have zero idea the range of emotions someone who is memory impaired goes through in a day.

People saying to take her home have absolutely NO idea how much care a person with dementia/alz need. Its 24/7 care where they need help with
