Here is just a few of the reasons I don’t recommend jumping straight into inkless needling on the first appointment: It is important to work WITH the skin … not against it. Skin NEEDS time - usually 4+ weeks to complete a full ‘cellular turnover cycle’ which my guests hear me talk about ALL the time.. this allows the skin cells to ‘wake up’, energise themselves +create activity required. I don’t chase fast results. I create transformational outcomes + that means starting slow - to go far. It’s not just about the treatments, it’s the many intentions I have behind them.
Rushing into any needling without prepping the skin - especially scarred, inflamed + compromised skin -may result in: * Poor cellular turnover * Inadequate fibroblast activation * Weakened collagen/elastin response * Higher sensitivity, inflammation or inconsistent healing * Adding more trauma to an already traumatised skin Instead, I prime the skin with LED, targeted skin nourishment + barrier strengthening to create a receptive, resilient environment - setting the stage for the skin to thrive during needling + its recovery. Instead, I curate a journey - layered, intentional + deeply healing physically, mentally + emotionally. My Skin Philosophy in Action: I live + breathe a client-focused, ethical approach. Ive built my practice on empathy, science + soul + that includes never rushing something as delicate + sacred as skin AND emotional healing. I practice ‘Skin Care’ with patience, intention + deep respect for the skin’s natural processes + with your emotional journey. #scartreatmentperth #Perthskinclinic #stretchmarks #scars #acnescars
