I use rafts because for some reason, I have random adherence issues and or curling. the rafts fix that problem for me. I clean and level every time.

Especially on articulated prints. They can be a nightmare to get off of rafts. It’s a mistake I made all of once😳

haha i havent cleaned my print bed since i got it. just a little brim and good to go. truthfully i have no idea how my shit sticks

what do you use to clean the bed? I’ve googled and tried alcohol etc but at best it’s mildly effective and at worst it smears.

I still struggle to get the first layer right. I am either too far and need an adhesive to hold or too close and get elephants foot

yeah I stopped using rafts for the most part. occasionally I run into a design that says to use one. if I have to I reduce the width. All that excess
