Just keep an eye on it. If your gut tells you to get him evaluated, do it. My granddaughter was almost 2 no talking. Dx with CAS childhood apraxia

This is not great advise. While children do reach milestones at different times, a child not talking at 18 months is a red flag.

My son wouldn’t talk till almost 3 he wouldn’t say a word till it was perfect wouldn’t even try it then just said everything and perfectly it’s crazy

My youngest will be 2 on Feb 12th he just started saying full words and trying to make sentences maybe a 1.5 months ago.

My son is 2, he only says a few words but a lot of jargan talk. He’s a few sessions in w/ his speech therapy & i think it’s really good so far for him

My son didn’t start until way after 2. Did early intervention & preschool speech. Now he’s a normal hs junior in honors classes.

Bro I did not talk till I was two. I was a preemie and had to go to speech therapy. Children develop at different rates.

Too many people attach intelligence to issues to talking. I get sometimes it can be an issue but it’s not as big of a deal as everyone makes it out

Ok! Yes, all children meet milestones at different ages but ignoring signs of speech delay will not benefit your children in the long run.

My son needed a little push in the speech department and Early Intervention was a huge help. His speech therapist was amazing. He won't shut up now.

my last baby didn't talk besides Mommy till he was 6 yo!!!!. He was healthy. When he was older I asked why. He said that everyone spoke for him.
