What I would do. Get glass beer bottles and bury them with 1-2" of the neck above ground. When the wind blows the sound will drive them away.

I have a lot of them in Northeast Texas. They don’t bother the bees. I trap the little bastages. It’s legal in Texas.

Treat your lawn for grubs. BEST way to get rid of gophers. They are snacking on the grubs. Needs to be done early spring and late fall

Gophers are spawn of Satan. Feed stores sale gas pellets, very effective. No poison if you have pets or livestock.

For 2 or 3 gophers use metal traps with bait; do not leave human scent; use gloves; also, flood their holes and when they come out for air whackamole
