I live in Norway and EVERYONE has out swing doors. Every door that is an emergency exit must swing out. We have a little roof over because of snow.

hinges are a bit of a security weak point, and are placed inside to stop some one with a chisel and hammer or maybe a battery grinder

here in Northern Indiana everyone has the main door that swings inward and then a storm/screen door that swings outward.. I thought this was normal 🤯

at least here it is law that you have to have all exterior door open outwards. in case of fire its easier to escape by pushing doors than pulling.
