Teacher here! All of our thermostats are controlled by the central office(administration). I have a box fan and a heater in my room!

my classroom gets up towards the 90s in texas. the chillers broke in August. Then in the winter the room thermostat can be in the 50s

I had a kid who had seizures triggered by heat. the district controlled the thermostat. was told to get a fan. told mom. mom kept him home.

My first year the AC/heating system broke the last month of the year and so instead of blowing air, the heat ran. Our room was like 98° for a month✨

Mine was the opposite. Also in the South, but mine didn’t heat. Was stuck in like 50s/60s in winter.
